Times they are a changing.....and so is this page.
Be patient. I'm making some changes that will
reflect this new stage in my life. I want to include you all,
unless you're the kind of person who uses others, manipulates
them, scams them, and then cries "Boohoo, I'm soooo sowwy!"
~if you're one of them, then please, go away somewhere. You're
wasting my oxygen.
Have a nice day!

Happy New Year....
I purposefully left the next entry for today. The topic is New Year's resolutions. And no, I'm not going to talk about how to keep them. That is idiotic. If you're curious, then read on. If you're not curious.....then what the hell are you doing reading this?
The purpose for New Year's resolutions is to effect change in ourselves, our ...Read Full Post »

Hey folks, want to see my supervisory team from Advanis, the market research company I work for in Edmonton, Alberta? I just added a pic of them, and here's a link to let you know what they are like:

HEY! How about a quickie?
Oh for God's sake, don't worry, your virtue is safe.....for now. Depends on this month. (Every damn woman out there just nodded her head.)
Quick addendum to yesterday's entry: the cookies are bloody done! Thank God! Now, off to WalMart to get the Dulcolax. (Look it up!)

Do you believe....?
Wow! Long time between posts, eh? Nope, I'm not stopping blogging, it's simply that not a lot happens, and I really don't believe anyone out there is interested in how many times I brush my teeth in a day (twice), or how often I go to the bathroom (none of your damned business!). So, I wait until enough "stuff" accumulates to make a decent entry, post on my Facebook wall that I have made a new post, and s...Read Full Post »

Is "change" an illusion?
I'm like a lot of people; I do not like change if I do not know what the results of the change will be. For anything. Unfortunately, that means in general I just do not like change. Of course I know that in almost every case, there is no way I can be absolutely certain what results will occur; I'm not psychic, and I don't think I want to be.
Change means we have limited po...Read Full Post »

Have I gone bonkers?
I've been waiting for something truly interesting to happen so I could post, and BAM! a few things have popped up this past weekend. HERE WE GO!
I BOUGHT A MOTORCYCLE! Yup you read that right. A Honda CBR 125cc. For you folks who recognize it, stop snickering! I've never been on one in my life, so it would be damn idio...Read Full Post »

Odds and ends...
It's Sunday, and I've done my groceries and a WEE bit of housecleaning. After Storm's passing, I didn't want to bother with anybody. Understandable. But as the days went by, I realised I liked my new found freedom. It may sound harsh but after 4 decades of dogs, I'm ready for a break. Besides, I want to be able to travel, when I have the bucks. Nothing extravagant. Read on....

Remembering, part 2.....
I mentioned in the first post for today that I would get to the reason for the two weeks between postings.
Last Saturday, November 5, a friend was telling me about her dog's health problems. It sounded too familiar. My dog, Storm, 13 years old, had similar symptoms. Cold fear ran through my mind. I rushed home, made sure she was comfortable and logged on to the net.Read Full Post »

It's one day shy of two weeks since I last posted, and with good reason. I'll get to that reason soon enough.
As you know, today is Rememberance Day. The one day of the year we set aside to remember everyone and anyone, from ANY part of the world, who fought, or is currently fighting, in a war, in ANY part of the world.
Vets, we call them. Too bad it's onl...Read Full Post »

Does that mean....?
I got to thinking this morning, while delivering my papers, about the post I made yesterday. Something wasn't "sitting right" in my mind, so as soon as I got home, I logged in, and read it.
Holy cow! That post was too damn aggressive and hostile even for myself! The funny thing is, I was in a pretty good mood when I wrote it, so I'm wondering...what exactly was on my mind to el...Read Full Post »

Windy, cool, and .......
Howdy all! I'm typing this via a public computer at Island Ink on 3rd and Pitt. I needed a LOT of ink for my latest project and, after spending over $200 already on new cartridges, I decided to give "refilling" a try. Turns out it isn't so bad. Island Ink did a pretty good job the first time. The quality of picture printing was damn good, so I'm back for more. Unfortunately, this time I have to wait ...Read Full Post »

It's been so quiet lately, that the only excitement I've had is this damn cold that hit me on Thursday night; just before the long weekend.
This entry's going to be short, folks. Seriously, just too quiet. Even our election failed to give me any ideas for ranting. PC won; Liberal minority government. Oh my! Quelle surpris! Yeah, right, l...Read Full Post »

A bit of this and a bit of that....
Whew! Just had a bit of a scare. The message "could not access your page" kept popping up; seems a bit of a burp in the system ~ that or someone has hacked into my blog site to determine just how much of a threat I really am. heh heh heh buahahahaha~~ be afraid; be very afraid!

The needs of the one.......
Well. I've been forced to leave work early tonight. I was supposed to work til 11pm, but had to log off at 916pm. My neighbour, Mr. Jack Coleman, is having a birthday party for someone, and has hired a rock band to perform.........in his backyard. Coleman resides one house behind and to the right of me. In other words, about 100 yards away. With the noise shaking my windows, scaring my dog, and le...Read Full Post »

We all know the significance of the date September 11, 2001 ~ two towers, plane crashes, terrorism. It affected every single one of us on this planet, but folks, let's remember other reasons to remember the date September 11:
My friend Mike Taillon is celebrating a birthday today. He's a great guy and his wife is super too!...Read Full Post »

As I'm sitting here, sipping my first Tim's of the day, at 6am, papers done, waiting to see if Mark will need my help with completing deliveries today, I enter my fave news site for Cornwall - www.cornwalldailynews.com.
I choke on my coffee as I read one of the headlines - Mark MacDonald Defends Liberal Immigrant Hiring Incentive. Seems the L...Read Full Post »

OMG they did what?????
Let the bitchfest begin! WOOHOO~!
Hmmmm so Mark MacDonald claims people who picked up his signs early were the ones who put them up early on their lawns; his team had nothing to do with it.
D'uh! Then don't give them out early! Did you really need someone to tell you that?

I did it.....
No, I didn't strangle a politician, or wax the stairs in an old folks' home and yell fire..........
For the past couple of weeks, something's been on my mind; something that I've always wanted to do, but never could because of a lack of money - take piano lessons.
When I was a child, my parents nurtured my love and abilities with the arts as best they c...Read Full Post »
